How to Apply for a CSCS Card 2026: Step-by-Step Guide
Step 3: Pass the CITB HS&E Test
You must book and pass the Health, Safety and Environment test. This costs £22.50 at official centres. You can book your test here.

Step 4: Apply for the Card
Once you have passed, you can apply for the physical card.
- Go to the Official CSCS Online Portal.
- Upload your test certificate and any NVQ qualifications.
- Pay the £36 card fee.
- Your card will arrive by post within 10 working days.
